Theunique hand-held weather station SILVA ALBA WINDWATCH®, madein Switzerland, is a multi-functional instrument which is designedfor outdoor people including; trekkers, paragliders, skiers, golfers,sailors, airfield ground crews, balloonists, hang-gliders, windsurfers,fire-brigades and military units. Two precision sensors/transducers:

• The patented highly sensitive pressure sensor fitted in thepatented battery cover gives; current Barometric pressure (QNH=reducedbarometric pressure at sea level), Barometric pressure overthe last 16 hours (trend) and information about current Altitude
• The patented highly sensitive impeller gives; Current, Peakand Average of The Peak wind speed, and Average wind speedover a selected period. While not in use the wind sensor impelleris fully protected by a simple twist of the casing - a uniquefeature!

Wind chill: Ambient temperature taking averageor peak wind speed into account

The instrument floats!

Unique Automatic-Software Correction in order to give correctwind speed values, i.e. software correction for the fact that wind-energyis lost, but corrected for at low wind speed and that impellershave "improved" dynamics at high wind speeds.

This Automatic-software Correction means that you can rely onthe information on the display also at very extreme wind speeds!
